Dear Shelton, Bill, Zan, Jack, Flonnie, & family

The Irish say “we won't be seein‘ the likes of her again”. Sadly we won't. What a huge loss for all of you – we stand in sympathetic awe of your ability to say goodbye.

Harry and I see Lois soaring with her beloved Audubon Birds after this spell of being locked into reduced activity. Lois becalmed? That's an oxymoron if ever there was one. We also imagine her and John and Doug and Sue and countless others who were near and oh so dear to her - all gathering to welcome her. Our personal memories are many, loving, and filled with belly laughs….and tasty memories of Derby Pie.

Lois, John, Sue and Doug opened their lives to us in Geneva and we loved it all - when hope was high for Sue and Rajko was working his medical magic.

Jack & Lonny – we remember that fantastic reunion of the Jidda Embassy group that you hosted in Camden on behalf of your parents. We still speak of the easy camaraderie you brought to that evening, not to mention the world-class pulled pork. No, we won' t be seein' the likes of Lois again.

Paula, Betty & Jim: you 3 might as well be family because that's how you were seen and how you responded to the West family over the years. You have our sympathy as well – as we are sure we have yours. An era has passed, one that we were all so lucky to have shared.
