Minnie Matthews Obituary

Minnie H. Matthews BATESBURG - Graveside services for Minnie Hardison Matthews, 79, will be held 11:00 a.m. Thursday at the Bill Matthews Cemetery with the Rev. Kevin Taylor officiating. The family will receive friends following the service. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society. Barr-Price Funeral Home and Crematorium, Historic B-L Chapel is in charge of arrangements. Mrs. Matthews passed away Saturday, July 22, 2017. Born in Snowhill, NC she was a daughter of the late William A. and Beadie Hardison. She was a member of Sardis Baptist Church and was a homemaker. She is survived by her sons, J.T. Matthews, Jr., Leslie Paul McLaughlin, Jr., and Travis R. Matthews; daughters, Deborah Vance, Patti Royal, and Batina Feaster; sisters, Selma Lanway and Kay Kerney; 14 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by her husband, Julian T.
