Rudy, Rudy, Rudy . . . you used to get the two of us into so much trouble in English class at River Rouge High School. For some reason my thoughts were heavy with you today and I finally looked you up. So sorry you are gone, but it sounds like you left a wonderful trail of adventures, accomplishments and love behind you. I last saw you at our 35th Class Reunion, and you never change (which is a good thing). Blessings to your family and all the lucky people who were able to know you.

I only had the pleasure of meeting Rudy one time, but he impressed me as such a kind and gentle person; the kind of person you would be happy to be your friend. I am sure that he will be missed greatly by his friends and family. You are all in my thoughts and prayers.

I don't remember a time when the Wilson family was not an extension of our family. I remember babysitting the kids when they were very young. I have pictures of Christmas visits and opening presents from when the kids were small until they were teenagers. Whenever I went back to the area, which was rare, I always made sure to stop in and see them. He was one of my Dad's very best friends and it has hit him hard as it has the rest of us. I will always remember him as larger than life, jovial, loud and loving. We miss you Rudy, may you find peace and love in Heaven. Wilson family may all of the wonderful memories you have of Rudy bring you peace and comfort.
