BRIGHTON
David Lee Bauser, 60, went home to see his Lord and Savior at 6:30 p.m. Friday, Nov. 29, 2013. He was born on May 14, 1953, in Wood River; he was the son of the late Marvin and Earlene (Green) Bauser. He attended the Alton schools and graduated from Alton High School in 1971. He received an AA degree from Lewis & Clark College in 1973 and a BA in journalism from SIUE in 1975.
David married the former Sheila Steckel on July 14, 1978, in Delhi. He was a route salesman for Frito-Lay and owned and operated Bauser Photography. He attended Delhi Baptist Church for approximately 40 years.
He is survived by his wife, two daughters and sons-in-law, Beth and James Hooks of Godfrey and Cari and Philip Golike of Alton; a sister and her husband, Donna and Richard Graham of Godfrey, and a granddaughter Molly Hooks.
Visitation will be from 4-8 p.m. on Tuesday, Dec. 3, 2013, at Gent Funeral Home in Alton. Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday, Dec. 4, at the Delhi Baptist Church with Rev. Ken Fields and Rev. Joe Groppel officiating. Burial will be in Godfrey Cemetery. Memorials may be made to the Muscular Dystrophy Association or the Delhi Baptist Church.

So sorry to hear about Mr. Bauser. He took our wedding pictures. We were very happy with the pictures and with his professionalism. Our prayers are with you.

I am sorry to hear of Dave's passing away. Went to Lewis and Clark with him. Dave was a good guy.
