I have known HEINZ since about 1992.He recorded my first two songs in his bacement. He was a great player and person. He worked hard, and as my friend GARY WILL has said he just seemed to be great at what ever he done.I send my prayers to his family and friends, and anyone he touched in his 59 years on this planet. He will not be forgotten. Many loved him,I loved him too,I had just started to get to re-know him after many years. We had lost contact along the way.it amazes me just how much he had done in all his years. But it did not surprise me.I allways knew he would do well.He allways had encouraging things to say to me.The last time I seen him was at LOS ALOMOS in wood river,as I was going out the door with my amp...he held the door for me and we talked a bit.He again complimented me and gave me encouragement.I never heard him ever say an ill word about anyone.Thats rare as you get to our age. It's a sad moment.I will miss him ,as many will miss him.

I knew him only by his works in the field of the flight simulator X-Plane, while I did not know nothing on his job as a chef (and I regret it, but so much so). I love his aircrafts and I bought many of them. I always found his works masterpieces.
My deepest condolences to Heinz's family and friends,
To me he will be very much missed, but will always be remembered by his works, day after day.

Heinz and I had one thing for sure in common; we liked good food! He was MY chef at SIUE and a darn good one at that. I missed him went he retired from SIUE but not from the musical world. And now he is a loss to ALL of us. You are remembered fondly my good friend and CHEF!

I didn't know Heinz very long but liked him right off. What a great warm wonderful human being. One of the last times I saw him I dropped by to pick up my guitar. He had leveled and dressed the frets for me and did such a great job. I have a feeling Heinz did great at whatever he tried his hand at. I am very saddened by his passing and do already miss him very much. Have fun in heaven jamming with John Lennon and George Harrison and all the rest of those guy's.

Heinz was such a talented and nice man. On the few occassions that I got to work with Heinz (at SIUE) or have a conversation; the respect that he showed person to person was deep and instantly returned the same to him. He was quiet and just a good fellow to be around. My condolences to all Heinz's family and friends. May he rest in peace.
