Hart, Ann Marie - Seaford  
Ann Marie Hart, 80, of Seaford, Del., passed away on Tuesday, May 26, 2015. Ann Marie was born in Avoca, Pa., and retired from SLC Graphics in Pittston, Pa. She belonged to Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church in Seaford, where she was a member of Our Lady's Tears, a group that makes rosary beads. She loved to solve crossword puzzles, and was a member of the Red Hat Society. Ann Marie is survived by five sons, Jim Hart (Jill), Mike Hart (Lonna), Bob Hart (Laura), Frank Hart and Ron Hart (Debra); a daughter, Judy Armiger (Jay); a brother, Joe Ostroski (Stephanie); 10 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. Mass of Christian Burial will be on Saturday, May 30, at 10 a.m. at Our Lady of Lourdes Church, 532 Stein Highway, Seaford. Friends may call at the Cranston Funeral Home, 300 N. Shipley St., Seaford, on Saturday morning from 8:30 to 9:30. Burial will be in Our Lady of Lourdes Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations may be made to St. Jude Children's Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.

Henshaw, Mary M. - Scranton  
Mary M. Henshaw, 94, a longtime resident of the Nativity section of Scranton, died Friday evening at home after an illness. She was the widow of Edwin J. Henshaw, who died July 27, 2010. Born in Charleroi, daughter of the late Thomas P. and Helen Dueppre Kilcullen, she was a member of St. John Neumann Parish, a graduate of Scranton Technical High School, class of 1939, and a member of the Catholic Women's Club. Before retirement, she had been employed as an office manager at Mayflower Manufacturing. Surviving are a daughter, Barbara Ann Henshaw, Scranton; a sister, Helen D. Kilcullen, Scranton; nieces and nephews. She was also preceded in death by a brother, Thomas P. Kilcullen III. The funeral will be Tuesday at 9 a.m. from the Miller Bean Funeral Home Inc., 436 Cedar Ave., Scranton, with Mass of Christian Burial at 9:30 in the Nativity of Our Lord Church, 633 Orchard St., Scranton. Entombment will follow in St. Catherine's Cemetery, Moscow. Friends may call Monday from 5 to 7 p.m. Memorial contributions may be made to the donor's favorite charity.

Herndon, MaryLou - Long Island  
MaryLou Ann Herndon, a longtime resident of Long Island, New York, passed away peacefully surrounded by family at Mountain View Care Center in Scranton on Tuesday. MaryLou was born February 9, 1945, in Brooklyn N.Y., daughter of the late Robert and Margaret Herndon, she was a graduate of St. Francis Xavier Catholic Academy, Brooklyn, N.Y., and went on to attend St Joseph's College, Brooklyn, where she received a bachlor's degree in early childhood education. She continued her education at Stony Brook University, Stony Brook, N.Y., from which she received a master's degree in liberal studies. MaryLou was a retired Suffolk County, New York, employee and worked as a supervisor for Child Protective Services. Prior to working for social services, she was a teacher for Head Start nursery school and also served as a substitute teacher for various grades. MaryLou was a very talented artist, loved listening to music, socializing with family and friends, and was a free spirit. Very near to her heart were her pets she loved throughout the years. She will be missed by all who had the joy and privilege of knowing her. Surviving are two children, Kevin LaLone and wife, Dianna, Ridge, N.Y.; and Jeanine Miller and husband, Bill, Moosic; three grandchildren, Giavanna and Jesse LaLone, and Amelia Miller; her dear cousin, Kathleen Vasconcelos, Lakewood N.J.; many nieces, nephews and cousins. Her family would like to thank the staff at Mountain View Care Center, Traditional Home Hospice and the staff at Oakwood Terrace for their kindness and compassion. Friends may call Friday from 2-4:30 and 7-9 p.m. at Mangano Funeral Home, 640 Middle Country Road, Middle Island, N.Y. A prayer service will be held Saturday at the funeral home at 10 a.m. Interment, Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, Coram, N.Y. Local arrangements by the Eagen-Hughes Funeral Home, 2908 Birney Ave., Scranton.

Hill, Millie A. - Scranton  
Millie A. Hill, 71, a lifelong resident of Scranton, died Tuesday morning. She was the widow of Joseph J. Hill, who died Dec. 19, 2011. Born in Scranton, daughter of the late Garfield and Henrietta Spindler Lewis, she was a former member of St. Paul United Methodist Church. She loved her job of many years as a cook at Terry's Diner, Moosic. She liked having a good time and was a fun person to be around. She was a fan of Elvis Presley, enjoyed going to the casino and loved her Bichon, Cubby. Surviving are a daughter, Debbie Dombroski and her husband, Joe, Scranton; two sons, Joe J. Hill Jr. and his wife, Maureen, Avoca; Richard T. Herman and his wife, Marie, Lewisburg; five children, Derek Ruthkosky, Jacob Ruthkosky, Brett Herman, Nicholas Hill and Taylor Hill; two brothers, Jake Lewis and his wife, Judy, Moscow; and Jack Lewis and his wife, Jeanne, Pittston; dear friend, Mary Ann Ostroski; dear friend and nurse, Barb Pullman; many dear friends; nieces, nephews and cousins. She was also preceded in death by a daughter, Kimberly Marie Hill. Funeral services will be held Friday at 9 a.m. in the Miller Bean Funeral Home Inc., 436 Cedar Ave., Scranton, by the Rev. Arthur W. Davis, pastor of the Asbury United Methodist Church. Interment will follow in Fairview Memorial Park, Elmhurst. Horne, Laura M. - Gouldsboro  
Laura M. Horne, 89, a resident of St. Mary's Villa Assisted Living Center, and formerly of Gouldsboro, entered into eternal rest on Monday morning at St. Mary's Villa Nursing Home following an illness. She is the widow of Thomas W. Horne, who died July 11, 1997. Born in Goliad, Texas, she was the daughter of the late Chester and Florence (Goldson) Davis. Prior to her retirement, Laura was employed at the PX at the Tobyhanna Army Depot. She was a member of St. Rita's Church in Gouldsboro, Pa. Surviving are her sons, Thomas W. Horne Jr. and wife, Frances, Magnolia, Del.; James R. Horne and wife, Alice of Covington Twp., Pa.; Joseph M. Horne and wife, Martha of Honolulu, Hawaii; and Alan B. Horne of Pine Bush, N.Y.; her grandson, James J. Horne and wife, Cari of Needles, Calif.; and her great-grandson, Kyle Patrick Horne. She was preceded in death by her son, Patrick Horne, in 1994; and her sisters, Doris Crowe and Audrey Bailey; and her brothers, Frank, Robert, Patrick and Gail Davis. Funeral services will be conducted Friday at 9:00 a.m. from Duffy & Snowdon Funeral Home, 401 Church Street, Moscow, Pa., with a Mass to follow at 10:00 a.m. in St. Rita's Church, Main Street, Gouldsboro, Pa.
