Alice Kupstas, 88, formerly of Brooklyn, N.Y., and a resident of Gracious Living Estates, Montrose, died Saturday morning.
Born May 21, 1924, in Pleasant Mount, she was the daughter of the late Anthony and Mary Yaketas Kupstas. She was born on a farm in Pleasant Mount, where she graduated from high school. In the 1950s, she moved to Brooklyn, where she worked and retired as a clerk for the Army National Guard of New York before moving back to the area. She was of the Catholic faith.
She is survived by several nieces and nephews.
She was also preceded in death by three sisters, Mary Zimmer, Josephine Kupstas and Anna Bolcavage; and three brothers, Edward, Anthony and Joseph Kupstas.
A graveside service will be held at the convenience of the family in Our Mother of Sorrows Cemetery, Finch Hill.
