Alice M. Hartwick

Alice M. Hartwick, Green Ridge section of Scranton, died Monday at the Commonwealth Hospice Inpatient Unit at Regional Hospital of Scranton after an illness.

Born in Scranton, daughter of the late Raymond and Beatrice Muldowney Hartwick, she was a graduate of St. Paul's High School and a lifelong member of St. Paul's Church and its Altar and Rosary Society. Before retirement, she had been employed for 23 years by the former A&P Supermarkets and retired from the Tobyhanna Army Depot, where she worked as a secretary. She was also a member of the Catholic Woman's Club and the Ladies Auxiliary of the Ancient Order of Hibernians.

Surviving is a cousin, John McKinnon, Scranton.

She was also preceded in death by a sister, Catherine Hartwick.

A blessing service will be held Friday at 9:30 a.m. in the Vanston and James Funeral Home, 1401 Ash St., Scranton. Interment, Cathedral Cemetery.
