Amy Bumbarger, 37, of Scranton, died peacefully in her sleep Wednesday at her home.
Born June 22, 1975, in Woodbury, N.J., she was the daughter of John Mueller of Moosic, Pa., and Elizabeth A. and Ernest Connors of Washington, Maine. Amy was a 1993 graduate of North Pocono High School and was employed as a Certified Nurses' Aide. She was previously employed at St. Mary's Villa Nursing Home in Elmhurst Twp., the Jewish Home of Northeast Pa. and the Green Ridge Health Care Center in Scranton.
Surviving are two children, Krystin M. Bumbarger of Scranton, Pa.; and Austin M. Bumbarger of Peckville, Pa.; a sister, Danielle C. Frey and husband, Christopher of Woodbury Heights, N.J.; two nieces, Kaitlin C. Frey and Amanda Bailor; and four nephews, Dillon J. Kerber, David Krzan, Daniel Krzan and Seth Frey. She is also survived by her husband, Travis A. Bumbarger of Peckville, Pa.
Funeral services will be conducted Saturday at 3:00 p.m. in the Howard J. Snowdon Funeral Home, 1810 Sanderson Avenue, Scranton, Pa. with Rev. Kristian Bjornstad as officiating clergy.
Friends may call Saturday, 1 to 3 p.m. at the funeral home. Interment, private at the convenience of the family.
