Angeline Garofalo Reilly

Angeline Garofalo Reilly, a lifelong resident of South Scranton, died Thursday night in Moses Taylor Hospital. She was the widow of Bernard Reilly, who died Sept. 17, 1972.

She was born in Scranton, the daughter of the late Carlo and Marianne Raymond Garofalo. She attended Scranton Technical High School and was a member of St. Paul of the Cross Parish. She was a former member of the St. Francis of Assisi Church Alter and Rosary and the After 50 club. Before retirement she was employed in the garment industry.

She enjoyed being with her family, playing cards, Yahtzee and going to the casinos. She will be dearly missed and forever in our hearts.

Surviving are a son, John Reilly, Scranton; a sister, Rose Ludka, Scranton; nieces, Mary Ann Tomasetti, Danbury, Conn.; Linda Malinoski, Dunmore; Susan Connors, Scranton; and Diane Ludka, Scranton; great-nieces, great-nephews and cousins.

The funeral will be on Monday with Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. in St. Francis of Assisi Church, 630 Genet St., Scranton. Interment will follow in Cathedral Cemetery.

Friends may call on Monday from 9 a.m. to 10 a.m. in the church.
