Ann Fisch, 75, a former Scranton resident, died Wednesday at home in Sparta, N.J., after a brief illness. She was preceded in death by her husband, Walter Fisch Sr., in 2006.
Born in Scranton, she was the daughter of the late Alexander and Ann Weirzinski Klucinskas. She was a graduate of Scranton Technical High School and a member of Sacred Hearts of Jesus and Mary Church, South Scranton, while living in Scranton.
Surviving are two sons, Walter Fisch Jr. and wife, Melanie, Tucson, Ariz.; and Alexander Fisch and wife, Diane, Sparta; grandchildren, Jonathen Mandycz, Shane K. Fisch and Nicole Mandycz; nieces and nephews.
The funeral will be Saturday at 9:30 a.m. from the Nicholas Chomko Funeral Home, 1132 Prospect Ave., South Scranton, with Mass of Christian Burial at 10 in Sacred Hearts of Jesus and Mary Church, Prospect Avenue and Brook Street, South Scranton, to be celebrated by the Rev. Scott P. Sterowski, pastor of St. Paul of the Cross Parish. Interment, Sacred Hearts Cemetery, Davis Street, Scranton.
