Anna Cusumano

Anna Cusumano, 96, of Old Forge, died Sunday at Geisinger Mountain View Care Center, Scranton, where she had been a resident. She was the widow of Vito "Blouse" Cusumano, who died in 1987.

Born in Taylor, daughter of the late Stephen and Mary Micknick, she received her education in Taylor schools and settled in Old Forge upon her marriage. She first began her employment at Brooks Manufacturing, Old Forge. Subsequently, Anna worked as a pizza maker at Revello's Pizza and Brutico's Restaurant in Old Forge for nearly 40 years. It was a job that she truly enjoyed until the age of 92. She was fortunate enough to have had Hillary Clinton pay her a visit in the kitchen of Revello's, during what was a presidential campaign stop a few years ago. She also worked for several years alongside her family at Rossi's Market in Old Forge. She was a parishioner of Prince of Peace Parish, Old Forge.

A kind and generous person, Anna's graciousness to both family and friends will live on in many hearts for years to come.

Her family kindly acknowledges everyone at Mountain View Care Center for the tireless, professional and genuine care that made her stay so comfortable.

Surviving are a son, Tom Cusumano and wife, Toni; two daughters, Sandra Jones and husband, Jim; and Cathy Rossi and husband, Larry, all of Old Forge; seven grandchildren, Gina Grebas, Mia Cusumano, T.J. Cusumano, Christopher Jones, Stacie Beviglia, Jennifer Katz and Laura O'Hearn; eight great-grandchildren; four brothers, Stephen Micknick, Trenton, N.J.; Michael Micknick, and wife, Grace, Lanham, Md.; John Micknick, Montpelier, Vt.; and Joseph Micknick, Taylor; two sisters, Helen Bartko, Connecticut; and Pauline Barry, Taylor; and many nieces and nephews.
