Anna Pernice of Scranton died Sunday in Green Ridge Health Care Center.
Born in Brooklyn, N.Y., daughter of the late Leonard and Marie Acquafredda Stallone, she was a member of St. Patrick's Church and educated in Brooklyn Public Schools.
Anna enjoyed bingo, crocheting, arts and crafts, and was well known for her skill of making jewelry. She was a loving and devoted mother, grandmother, sister and aunt who will be deeply missed.
Surviving are two sons, Michael Pernice, New York; and Thomas Pernice, Scranton; one grandson, Thomas John Pernice, Scranton; one, Sister Sally Cruciani, Dunmore; one brother, Leonard Stallone, Hudson, Fla.; nieces, nephews and cousins.
She was also preceded in death by three sisters, Sophie M. Russo, Theresa Perenza and Francine Ciola; and one brother, Sam Stallone.
The funeral will be Thursday with Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. in Immaculate Heart of Mary Chapel, Oram Street. Interment, private at the convenience of the family.
