Anna Puchalski

Anna Puchalski, 93, Moosic, died Monday at Lakeside Health and Rehabilitation Center, Dallas. Her husband, Wallace Puchalski, died in 1973.

Born in Moosic, daughter of the late Marian and Mary Kaminski Blados, she was employed by Vermont Sportswear as a seamstress before retiring. She was a member of St. Paul of the Cross Church, Scranton.

Surviving are two sons, Francis Puchalski and wife, Linda, Moosic; and Robert Puchalski, Dallas; four grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; a brother, Stanley Blados, Silver Spring, Md.; a sister, Helen Leby, Moosic; nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by six sisters, Stella, Celia, Josephine, Susan, Jean and Verna; and a brother, Edward.

The funeral will be Thursday at 9:30 a.m. from the Leon S. Gorgol Funeral Home, 1131 Pittston Ave., Scranton, with Mass at 10 in St. Paul of the Cross Church, South Scranton. Interment, Sacred Hearts of Jesus and Mary Cemetery, Scranton.

Friends and family may call Wednesday from 5 to 7 p.m.
