Armand Biscontini

Armand M. Biscontini of Frankfort, Ky., died Nov. 14 at the Frankfort Regional Medical Center. Armand is survived by his wife of 31 years, Dana.

He was born in Old Forge, the son of the late Anthony and Rose Gavazzi Biscontini. Armand was an Army veteran and a graduate of the University of Scranton and George Washington University. He served as a teacher, vice principal and principal during his distinguished career in education. He also served as director of accreditation for Kentucky's Department of Education.

He is also survived by his stepson, Daniel G. Yeast and his wife, Tara, of Somerset, Ky.; his beloved grandchildren, Maxton and Catherine Yeast of Somerset; and his sister, Helen Artabane of Old Forge.

Funeral services were Nov. 18 at Rogers Funeral Home, Frankfort, Ky. Burial followed in Sunset Memorial Gardens with military graveside honors.
