Bertha L. Glossenger

Bertha L. Glossenger, Port Richey, Fla., died Monday in Florida. Her husband is Kenneth J. Glossenger.

Born Feb. 23, 1934, in Angels, Wayne County, she was the daughter of the late Charles W. and Emma Burris Weitzel. Before retirement, she had been employed by Wayne County in the treasurer's office. She was of the Methodist faith.

Also surviving are sons, James Glossenger and wife, Lori; and John Glossenger; daughters, Joanne Bell and husband, Bruce; and Karen Miszler and husband, Michael; brothers, Charles and Robert Weitzel; sisters, Irene Padfield, Mary Lou Bissland, Florence Dodson and Mildred Wall; eight grandchildren; and one great-grandson.

She was also preceded in death by a brother, William Weitzel.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday at 11 a.m. in the James Wilson Funeral Home, 143 Gravity Road, Lake Ariel, officiated by Pastor Chris Freet of the Beach Lake Free Methodist Church. Interment will be private at the convenience of the family.

Friends may call Tuesday from 10 until time of service.
