Charlotte A. Hares

Charlotte A. Hares, 86, of Dickson City, died Tuesday morning at Julia Ribaudo Nursing Facility, Lake Ariel, where she had been a resident for the past year. She was preceded in death by her husband, Harry Hares, on June 27, 1996.

Born in Thomaston, Ga., daughter of the late James and Gertrude Stein Fabian, she was a member of Bradley Memorial Church, Dickson City, and its Ladies Society. She was a graduate of the Georgia school system and before retirement, she was employed as a seamstress in the local garment industry.

She was a loving and caring mother and grandmother who loved spending time with her family. She enjoyed sewing and crocheting, and she will be deeply missed.

Charlotte's family would like to thank the staff at the Julia Ribaudo Nursing Facility and the VNA Hospice for the tender loving care and kindness extended to Charlotte during her stay with them.

Surviving are a daughter, Martha Dzwieleski and husband, Joseph, Lake Ariel; two granddaughters, Martha Colachino, Dickson City; and Lynn Colachino, West Chester; nieces and nephews.

She was also preceded in death by a son, Harry Hares Jr.
