David Woodbine

David Woodbine, 85, of Scranton, died Friday at home after an illness.

Born in Kingston, he was the son of the late David Sr. and Stella Rickert Woodbine.

David was a warm, gentle and kind person, who enjoyed traveling, visiting the senior center and going on vacation. He was a strong individual, who lived his life to the fullest. David enjoyed his time and friends at United Cerebral Palsy of NEPA and the Arc of NEPA. He will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.

There are no survivors.

The funeral will be Tuesday at 9 a.m. from the Neil W. Regan Funeral Home Inc., 1900 Pittston Ave., Scranton, with Mass of Christian Burial at 9:30 at St. Peter's Cathedral, 315 Wyoming Ave., Scranton, celebrated by the Rev. Philip Altavilla, pastor. Interment, Cathedral Cemetery.
