Dominick "Rick" "Squirrel" Riccardo, 60, Dunmore, died Thursday morning at home.
Born in Scranton, the son of Antoinette Bordo Riccardo, Dunmore, and Lawrence L. Riccardo, who died in 2004, he was a 1970 graduate of Dunmore High School.
He was a good billiards player and enjoyed shooting pool. He enjoyed reading, watching football and NASCAR. Rick was a loving and caring son, nephew, cousin and friend.
Also surviving are aunts, Ann Marie Maus and husband, Howard, Dunmore; Shirley Klein and husband, Russell, New Jersey; Lucy Luciano, New Jersey; Mary Riccardo, Dunmore; and Carmella Bordo, Old Forge; uncles, Caesar Bordo, Dunmore; Joseph Riccardo and wife, Mary Lou, Birdsboro; and Joseph Ercolami, Peckville; numerous cousins and friends.
He was also preceded in death by maternal grandparents, James and Anna Gervasi Bordo; and paternal grandparents, Nick and Jessie Cianci Riccardo; two aunts, Grace Ercolani and Ann Bordo; and two uncles, Bernard Bordo and Salvatore Riccardo.
The funeral will be Monday from the Carlucci-Golden-DeSantis Funeral Home Inc., 318 E. Drinker St., Dunmore, with Mass of Christian Burial at 11 a.m. in St. Anthony of Padua Church, Smith Street, Dunmore. Interment, Dunmore Cemetery.
