Donna M. Bisignani Hodgkins

Donna M. Bisignani Hodgkins of Scranton died Thursday at the Hospice Community Care, Dunmore, following an illness.

Born in Scranton, daughter of the late Louis T. Sr. and Priscilla Edwards Bisignani, she was a graduate of Scranton Central High School, class of 1971. Before her illness, she was employed at several area bookstores including, B. Dalton Booksellers.

She was a loving and devoted daughter, sister, companion and aunt. She adored her two puppies, Taz and Pepper. She was loved and will be dearly missed by all.

Donna's family would like to extend a heart-felt thank you to Doctors Kenneth Sebastianelli and Kristin Liptock, for their wonderful care and concern.

Surviving are her companion, Daniel Hardee, Scranton; two sisters, Carol Catalano and husband, Paul, Scranton; and Mary Fazio and husband, Richard, Peckville; a brother, Louis A. Bisignani and wife, Nancy, Scranton; three nieces, Penny and husband, attorney Joseph Gaughan, Scranton; Priscilla and husband, David Smith, Washington, D.C.; and Judge Margie Moyle and husband, Douglas, Scranton; a nephew, Louis R. Bisignani and fiancée, Eve Walsh, Scranton; several great-nieces and great-nephews; and cousins.

The funeral will be Monday from the Patrick F. Guido Funeral Home, 120 S. Main Ave., Scranton, with Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. in St. Ann's Basilica Church, 1250 St. Ann's St., Scranton. Everyone is asked to proceed directly to church. Interment will be private at the convenience of the family in Italian-American Cemetery.

Friends may call Sunday, 2 to 5 p.m.
