Elizabeth Mae Hopkins, 27, of Dalton, died Wednesday at Regional Hospital of Scranton.
Born in Scranton, daughter of Mark and Michele Hopkins, Scranton, she was a graduate of Abington Heights High School, class of 2004, and attended Cabrini College. She was employed as a sales professional at Gibbons Ford, Dickson City. She regularly attended Our Lady of the Snows Church, Clarks Summit, and was very active in coordinating events at the DAV post, Dickson City.
She was a loving daughter, granddaughter, sister and niece who had a very special relationship with her Auntie Deb and her Nana and Granddad. She valued her many friends and was a Springsteen fan.
Also surviving are her grandparents, Donald J. and Mae Hopkins, Dalton; a stepbrother, Christopher Matthews, Scranton; two uncles, Don Hopkins and wife, Donna, Clarks Summit; and Robert Hopkins and wife, Ilaya, Maryland; an aunt, Deborah Hopkins, Glenburn; and cousins, Leigh and Dana Hopkins, Clarks Summit; Owen and Graham Hopkins, Maryland.
A memorial Mass will be celebrated Wednesday at 9:30 a.m. in Mary, Mother of God Parish at Holy Rosary Church, Scranton.
