Estelle Aaronson Freidlin, 92, formerly of Scranton and Margate, N.J., died Wednesday in Oak Knoll Healthcare Center in Framingham, Mass., where she was lovingly cared for by the staff for the past seven years. The widow of J. William "Bill" Freidlin, she was active in Hadassah, Temple Israel Sisterhood, Scranton-Pocono Council Girl Scouts and Eastern Star.
She is survived by daughters, Sydie Marcus, Williamsburg, Va.; Ricky Freidlin, Wayland, Mass.; Ellen Lee and husband, Alan, Abingdon Va.; Sandy McIntyre, Casa Grande, Ariz.; grandchildren, Zachary Lee and wife, Emily; Ashley Marcus, Nathan McIntyre, Shay McIntyre; and nieces and nephews, Alan Mandel and wife, MaryJoan; Marlene Mandel; Lisa Miller-Taylor and husband, Tony; Rene Hallen and husband, Jim; and Michael Freidlin; grandnieces and grandnephews, Aaron Mandel; Rachel Mandel and husband, Chip; Beth Mandel; Seth Mandel and wife, Joy; Erin Patten and husband, Bob; Jamie Hallen.
A graveside service will be held on Tuesday at 10:30 a.m. in Temple Israel Cemetery, Warren Street, Dunmore.
