Florence Z. Keating

Florence Z. Keating, Mechanicsburg, formerly of Archbald, died Tuesday at Holy Spirit Hospital, Camp Hill. Her husband, Donald Keating, died in 1991. They were happily married for 40 years.

Born in Jermyn, daughter of the late Julian and Emilia Stachura Zyskowski, she graduated from Jermyn High School. She was an executive secretary for several companies, including Triangle Pipe and Tube and St. Joseph's Hospital, Carbondale, before retiring.

After her husband Donald's death, she moved to Mechanicsburg, where she was a member of St. Joseph's Parish.

She is survived by a daughter, Anne and husband, Tom Fiorenza, Mechanicsburg; a son, Robert and wife, Michele Keating, South Abington Twp.; three grandchildren, Criss Keating and wife, Lauren, Broomall; Jeremy Keating, Allentown; and Emily Fiorenza Wallace and husband, Nick, Millersburg; two great-grandchildren, Ryan and Ali Keating; several nieces and nephews.

She was also preceded in death by a brother, Joseph Zyskowski.

The funeral will be Saturday at 9 a.m. from the Battenberg Funeral Home, 363 Washington Ave., Jermyn, with Mass of Christian Burial at 9:30 in St. Thomas Aquinas Church, Archbald. Interment, Valley View Memorial Park, Scott Twp.

Friends may call Friday, 5 to 8 p.m.
