Floyd Sheary Lieback of Exeter died Sunday at Geisinger Wyoming Valley Medical Center, Wilkes-Barre. He is survived by his wife, Carol Dabbieri Lieback.
Born in Jenkins Twp., son of the late Floyd and Sofia Samsell Lieback, he graduated from Moosic High School in 1952. Floyd was a veteran of the Air Force. Before his retirement, he was employed for more than 35 years at Ford Motor Co., Edison, N.J.
Floyd enjoyed life, talking and having fellowship with his friends, usually at Dunkin Donuts or in his garage in Greenwood.
He is also survived by a sister, Ann Marie McLeod and husband, Frank, Wisconsin; grandchildren, Stephani and Troy Smith; and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday at 8 p.m. at the Howell-Lussi Funeral Home, 509 Wyoming Ave., West Pittston. The Rev. David Brague will officiate. Floyd will be buried with full honors in Indiantown Gap National Cemetery, Annville, at the convenience of the family.
Friends may call Wednesday from 5 until service time at 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
