Frances Jean Hokien

Frances Jean Hokien, 94, of Covington Twp., died peacefully at home on Tuesday evening, March 5, surrounded by her children. She was the wife of the late Frank J. Hokien, who died in 1981.

Born in Old Forge, she was the daughter of the late Phillip and Eufemia (Carpellotti) DelVecchio. Frances was a devoted Mother, always proud of her children. She was a loving caregiver to family, as well as to residents of St. Mary's Villa, where she worked for over 20 years. She was a lifelong member of St. Catherine of Siena Church in Moscow.

She is survived by her children, Michele Hokien, Madison Twp.; Lois Wolfe and husband, Henry, Covington Twp.; Gary Hokien and wife, Denise, of Covington Twp.; Robert Hokien and wife, Sharon, Madison Twp. She is also survived by her sister, Nell Rapp, Baltimore, Md.; grandchildren, Christine Tanfield and Robert Hokien Jr.; great-grandchildren, Alivia, Ava and Carlin; and nephews.
