Glenn G. Luscher Jr. of Scranton died Tuesday morning in the Hospice Unit of Regional Hospital of Scranton.
Born December 22, 1949, in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, he was the son of Glenn E. Luscher Sr. and Geraldine Teitsch Luscher of Hatley, Wisconsin.
His biggest passion in life was his family. He was an accomplished truck driver, welder and writer. He was a grand master in martial arts and founded his own style of martial arts, "Qing Long Wushu."
Also surviving are his soulmate, Johanna Gotay; sister, Lorna Krause and husband, Pete, Curtis, Wis.; one brother, Terry Luscher and wife, Sue, Berlin, Wis.; three daughters, Angela Higgins, Tomahawk, Wis.; Virginia Cummings and husband, Robert, Factoryville, Pa.; Johanna Luscher, Scranton; four sons, Dana Rohmeyer, Wis.; Daniel Luscher and wife, Toni, Scranton; Glenn Luscher III, Scranton; and Alfred Luscher, Scranton; nineteen grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by one sister, Charlene Luscher; and a son, Spc. Jonathan Luscher.
Friends may call Saturday from 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. at the Carl J. Savino Funeral Home, 157 S. Main Ave., West Scranton, with services in the funeral home at 3:00 p.m. by the Reverend Arthur Davis, pastor, Asbury United Methodist Church, Scranton. Interment will be at the convenience of the family.
