Grace A. Seymour

Grace A. Seymour of Clarks Summit died Thursday at Abington Manor, Clarks Summit. She was the widow of Robert H. Seymour, who died Dec. 15, 1976.

Born in Dalton, daughter of the late Louis and Ruth A. Howerth LaFontaine, she was a member of Our Lady of the Snows Church, Clarks Summit. Educated in Abington Heights public schools and a graduate of Abington Heights High School, where she was very proud to be a cheerleader, she also attended Marywood College. Before her marriage, she was employed by ICS.

Grace was an avid reader; her most favorite time was being with family.

Surviving are a daughter, Barbara Bergeron, Scranton; two sons, Robert Seymour and wife, Lisa; and Howard P. Seymour and wife, Jean Marie, all of Scranton; nine grandchildren, Geoffrey, Brandon, Lindsey, Katie, Kyle, Robert, Ian, Jason and Sarahjean; two great-grandchildren, Bella and Abygail; nieces, nephews and cousins.

She was also preceded in death by a brother, Frank LaFontaine; and a sister, Jean O'Hora.

The funeral will be Monday at 9:45 a.m. from the McGoff-Hughes Funeral Home Inc., 1401 Capouse Ave., Scranton, with Mass of Christian Burial at 10:30 in Our Lady of the Snows Church, State Street, Clarks Summit. Interment, Abington Hills Cemetery, South Abington Twp.
