Isabella Eva Alt Metschulat Chesik

Isabella Eva Alt Metschulat Chesik, 77, a lifelong resident of Moscow, died Tuesday morning at home. Her husband of 44 years is Daniel J. Chesik Sr.

Born in Scranton, daughter of Dorothy Blanche Moon Alt, Moscow; and the late Maxwell Alt, she was a 1953 graduate of Moscow High School.

She was a devoted homemaker, mother and grandmother whose passion was raising her children. She adored young children and babies, and would always dote on them wherever she was. She enjoyed bowling, playing cards, traveling to visit family and also adventured in skydiving at age 70 and again at age 72.

Also surviving are children Sue Cox, Bensalem; Connie Seagraves and husband, Tim, Madison Twp.; Max Metschulat, West Norriton; Danielle Chesik, Collegeville; and Dan Chesik Jr., Elmhurst; grandchildren, Michelle Dolt and husband, Sean; Jessica Kakareka and fiancé, Chad Miller; T.J. Seagraves and Mikey Seagraves; and sisters, Imogene Knoll Hartpence and Frances Gearhart. She was also preceded in death by sisters, Lavilla Heppe and Sallie Ross.

The funeral will be Friday at 7 p.m. in the Brian Arthur Strauch Funeral Homes and Cremation Services, 3 First St., Spring Brook Twp., to be officiated by the Rev. Kenneth Alt, a cousin.
