James M. Andrych

James M. Andrych, 58 of Seattle, Wash., formerly of Throop, died April 3 after a brief illness.

Born in Throop on Dec. 2, 1954, son of the late Eleanor and Frank Manasek, he attended Girard College and attended a college in Wisconsin. He was selected to be a Rhodes Scholar. He was employed by the Kraft Corp.

James was a gentle man who was especially proud of all of his nieces and nephews.

Surviving are a sister, Loretta Radzwillowicz and husband, Ted, Las Vegas; a brother, Richard Manasek and wife, Maggie, Carmel, Ind.; a sister, Carol Crider, Phoenix, Ariz.; two brothers, Jeffrey Manasek, Dunmore; and David Manasek and wife, Michele, Clark Summit; a sister, Bonnie Kranick, Florida; a brother-in-law, Alex Profka, Jessup; a brother-in-law, Frank Farmer, Florida; many nieces and nephews.

He was also preceded in death by two brothers, Frank Manasek and Jerry Manasek; and two sisters, Eleanor Profka and Dolores Farmer.

The funeral will be Saturday at 9 a.m. from the John F. Glinsky Funeral Home, 445 Sanderson St., Throop, with Mass at 9:30 a.m. in Blessed Sacrament Parish at St. Anthony's Church, Rebecca Street, Throop. Interment, Holy Family Cemetery, Throop.
