Jane Francis Munley

Jane Francis Munley, 83, of Coral Springs, Fla., formerly of Archbald, died March 13 at home. She was the widow of William Joseph Munley. The couple was married for 55 years.

Born in Scranton, daughter of the late Francis and Juliet McGuire Flaherty, she was a 1951 graduate of Mercy Hospital School of Nursing and was employed for many years as a registered nurse at Mercy Hospital. She resided in Archbald before moving to New Jersey and retiring in Coral Springs.

She was a very special person who enjoyed her family and always had time for everyone. She will be greatly missed by everyone but never forgotten. She died at the home of her daughter surrounded by her loving family.

She is survived by daughters, Ellen Salimbene and husband, Michael, Coral Springs; and Karen Edwards and husband, Bruce, Sugar Hill, Ga.; sons, William Joseph Munley, Kevin Munley and Christopher Munley, all of Pennsylvania; grandchildren, Kelly Salimbene Kolifrath and husband, Jason; Anthony William Salimbene and wife, Nicole; Sean, Patrick and Lauren Munley, and Tyler William Edwards.

The funeral was held March 15 in Coral Springs.
