Jeanette R. Lebida

Jeanette R. Lebida, 93, of Dickson City, died Sunday at Carbondale Nursing Home. She was preceded in death by her husband, Stanley Lebida, on May 29, 1992.

Born in Dickson City, daughter of the late Thaddeus and Magdalena Ciepukajtys Rzeszewski, she was a member of St. Mary's Visitation Church, Dickson City and its Christian Mothers Society and she also helped with the making of pierogies. She was a graduate of Dickson City High School and was employed in the local garment industry, retiring as supervisor at Dickson City Garment.

She was a loving and caring mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and sister who took great pride in everything she did, especially her home. She was always ready to lend a helping hand to anyone in need. She was a woman of great faith who will be missed by everyone who knew her.

Surviving are a daughter, Janeen Nieratko and husband, Steven, Dickson City; a granddaughter, Rebecca Colarusso, Williamsport, and companion, Scott Harmon; a grandson, Keith Nieratko, Carlisle, and companion, Jill Rineer; two great-grandchildren, Skyler Colarusso and Selah Nieratko; two sisters, Victoria Misiura, Olyphant; and Madge Homish, Toledo, Ohio; two brothers, Thaddeus Rzeszewski and wife, Rachel, Santa Ana, Calif.; and Ronald Rzeszewski and wife, Mary Lou, Dickson City; nieces and nephews.

She was also preceded in death by a sister, Eleanor Hazeldon.

The funeral will be Wednesday at 9 a.m. from the Frank T. Mazur Funeral Home Inc., 601 Dundaff St., Dickson City, with Mass at 9:30 in St. Mary's Visitation Church, Dickson City. Cremation, Maple Hill Crematory.
