Jeffrey M. Kornblau

It is with profound sadness that we must share with you that our firm's founder, Jeffrey M. Kornblau, esquire, passed away on Nov. 11, 2013.

Jeff was a champion of those less fortunate and a passionate trial attorney who had a deep and unending love and respect for his clients, colleagues and friends. He was also a loving and devoted husband to his wife, Lynn Sare, who was born and raised in Scranton, father to his sons, Jonathon and Adam; champion of the rights of his clients, mentor and best friend to all.

Jeff inspired us all in his special way, and his relentless pursuit of justice will be carried forward by Kornblau, Kornblau and Solomon, his wife and law partners, Lynn Sare Kornblau, Gary Solomon and their staff of dedicated attorneys.

For those in the Scranton area who wish to pay their respects, a shiva memorial service will be held today, Nov. 15, 2013, at Temple Israel, 918 E. Gibson St., Scranton, Pa., at 11:30 a.m.

Shiva was observed at the Kornblau residence, 1180 Jefferson Lane, Huntingdon Valley, Pa., on Thursday. Shiva will resume Saturday at 7:30 p.m. Minyan services shall be held Saturday through Tuesday evening at 7:30 p.m.

Visitors are welcome during the day Sunday through Tuesday after 1 p.m.

To fulfill Jeff's mission to ensure the availability of urgent cancer care on weekends and evenings, contributions in Jeff's memory may be made to the Jeffery M. Kornblau Memorial Fund, Abramson Cancer Center, 3535 Market St., Suite 750, Philadelphia, PA 19104.
