Joseph J. Cislo

Joseph J. Cislo, 66, of Greentown, passed away Monday, March 24, 2014, surrounded by his family in Regional Hospital of Scranton.

Born in Dupont on February 19, 1948, he was the son of the late Joseph and Romaine Olczak Cislo. He was a graduate of Northeast High School and was a self-employed roofer since 1970. He was an avid fisherman and hunter, having hunted in many states throughout the U.S. He was a Harley-Davidson Motorcycle enthusiast and had a passion for building and riding motorcycles.

He was of the Catholic faith and was a loving husband, brother, uncle and stepfather.

Surviving are his wife, Lucy Cuevas Cislo; sister, Connie Walsh, Solana Beach, Calif.; niece, Katherine Walsh, New York City; nephew, Mark Walsh, Belmar, Calif.; two stepdaughters; a stepson; step grandchildren and stepgreat-grandchildren.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Saturday at 10 a.m. in Sacred Heart of Jesus Church, 215 Lackawanna Ave., Dupont. Those attending are asked to go directly to the church. Interment, parish cemetery.
