Julia Pitoniak

Julia Pitoniak, 89, of Jessup, died Tuesday at Commonwealth Home Health and Hospice.

Born in Phillipsburg, she was the daughter of the late Anthony and Mary Machak Pitoniak. She was a member of Queen of Angels Parish, St. Michael's Church, and its Holy Rosary Society. She was employed at the Barbizon in Jessup for many years and retired from Weston Components after 31 years of employment.

She was a kind and loving sister, aunt, great-aunt and friend, who enjoyed spending time with family and traveling. She was an avid bowler.

She is survived by several nieces and nephews, including Richard Pitoniak and wife, Janice; Loretta DePietro and husband, Ed; and Roberta Galati and husband, Carmen, all of Jessup; and several great-nieces and great-nephews.

She was also preceded in death by four brothers, Frank, Steve, John and Anthony; and a sister, Mary Ebert.

The funeral will be Monday from the Louis M. Margotta Funeral Home, 511 Church St., Jessup, with Mass at 9:30 a.m. at St. Michael's Church, Jessup. Interment, parish cemetery, Jessup.
