Kathleen Romano

Kathleen "Kathy" Romano, 63, of Ransom, died Wednesday at Geisinger Medical Center in Danville. She is survived by her beloved husband, Patrick Romano. Wed on July 3, 1970, the couple was married for 42 years.

She was born in West Scranton. After attending West Scranton High School, Kathy worked for 47 years as supervisor and plant manager for Triple-A Trouser Manufacturing, Mayflower; and most recently, Calvin-Taylor Corp. of South Scranton. She was a former member of St. Lucy's Parish in West Scranton.

Her favorite pastime was playing the casino slots with her husband.

She is also survived by two sisters, Darlene Ritter and Patricia Tully; many nieces and nephews.

A memorial Mass is scheduled for Wednesday at 9:30 a.m. at St. Lucy's Church, 949 Scranton St., Scranton.

Relatives and friends may pay their respects from 9 until Mass.
