Kathryn Cole died on Friday, March 15, at Halifax Health Hospice of Volusia/Flagler in Port Orange, Fla. She was preceded in death by her husband, Donald L. Cole, in 1997.
She was born on Dec. 7, 1947, in Archbald. She was the daughter of the late Edward and Nan Ahern Marion. She worked for a number of years at St. Joseph Center in Scranton and Wea Manufacturing in Olyphant.
She was a dedicated employee who loved her work and gave her all in performing her responsibilities. She was a devoted mother and wife who loved being with and surrounded by her family. She took delight in her children and grandchildren and enjoyed the many visits to and from her family. She enjoyed living in Florida and her dog, Tiny, who was a faithful companion. Kathryn was a woman of faith who supported her life and the lives of those she loved with prayer. May the love she shared in this life console and strengthen her family and all those she loved as she passes into life without end.

She is survived by a son, Donald and wife, Melissa; a daughter, Kelly and husband, Andrew Morgan; three grandchildren, Brandon, Cody and Cole, all of Port Orange, Fla.; sisters, Ann Marie Goldovich and Sister Maureen Marion, O.S.F.; and brothers, Edward, Patrick, Michael, Joseph and John, all of Archbald.
Private services were held in Florida at the Halifax Health Hospice on Tuesday, March 19. Interment will take place at Monday at 1 p.m. at the Valley View Cemetery in Montdale.
