Kelli Eileen Jenkins Potis, 42, of Jermyn, died Sunday at Regional Hospital of Scranton.
Born in Scranton, daughter of John and Sally Penny Jenkins, Jermyn, she graduated from Lakeland High School and Lackawanna College. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church, Jermyn, and the American Cancer Society.
Also surviving are a son, Joseph Potis; and a daughter, Jami Potis, both at home; a sister, Rebecca and husband, Christopher Wolynski, Factoryville; a brother, John Jenkins Jr., Jermyn; former husband, David Potis, Carbondale; a best friend, Gary Bomba, Jermyn; two nieces and five nephews; several aunts, uncles and cousins.
She was preceded in death by maternal grandparents, James and Mildred Penny; paternal grandparents, Lemuel and Jean Jenkins; and soulmate, Leon Bomba.
The funeral will be Thursday at 10 a.m. in the First United Methodist Church, Jermyn, with the Rev. Douglas Posegate, pastor, officiating. All those wishing to attend the funeral are asked to go directly to the church. Cremation in Maple Hill Crematory, Archbald.
Friends may call Wednesday, 4 to 8 p.m., at the Battenberg Funeral Home, 363 Washington Ave., Jermyn.
