Louise Kolosinsky

Louise Kolosinsky, 88, a lifelong Jessup resident, died Sunday morning at Geisinger CMC, Scranton, following a brief illness. She was the widow of Joseph J. Kolosinsky, who died in 2005.

Born in Jessup, she was the only daughter and last surviving member of the family born to Julius and Adalgisa Borcellini Ferretti. She attended Jessup public schools and, before retiring, she was employed as a seamstress in the local garment industry. She was a member of the ILGWU and belonged to St. Mary's Assumption Church, Queen of Angels Parish, Jessup.

Louise was a good mother and a fun loving person who enjoyed her trips to the casinos and holiday dinners with family.

Surviving are two sons, Joe Kolosinsky Jr. and Richard Kolosinsky; three grandchildren, Kami, Carrie, and Johnathon; great-grandchildren; nieces, nephews and cousins.

She also was preceded in death by seven brothers, Alfred, Baldino, Joseph, Louis, Richard, Roger and Rudolph.

The funeral will be Friday with Mass at 9:30 a.m. in Queen of Angels Parish at St. Michael's Church, First Avenue, Jessup. Interment, St. John's Cemetery, Jessup.

The family will greet relatives and friends at the church from 9 until Mass time.
