Louise Shepherd, 65, of Montrose, died Wednesday at Lourdes Hospital, Binghamton, N.Y.
Born March 18, 1949, in Binghamton, daughter of the late Samuel E. and Edna M. Potter Shepherd, she retired after 28 years of service working for the USDA as an area technician.
Louise was an avid reader.
Surviving are a sister and brother-in-law, Jeanie and Doug Perkins, Clewistown, Fla.; brother and sister-in-law, Charles and Mary Shepherd, Okeechobee, Fla.; nieces, nephews and their spouses, John and Sheryl Moran, Scott and Monica Perkins, Sam Shepherd, Karen April Holgate and Kimberly Holgate; grandnieces and grandnephews, Ashley, J.D., Rodney, Amber, Koby, Christian, Kayson, Karson, Zane, Kyleigh, Kailynn, Kendra and Paisley.
She was also preceded in death by a brother, Albert Shepherd; and grandniece, Tiffany.
Services will be Saturday at 11 a.m. in the Bartron-Myer Funeral Home Inc., Montrose.
