Mark E. Churilla, 51, of the Keyser Valley section of Scranton, died Sunday at home after being stricken ill.
Born Feb. 13, 1962, in Scranton, son of the late Edward and Joan Horvath Churilla, he was educated in Scranton schools and was a 1980 graduate of West Scranton High School. He was formerly employed as a machinist.
He was an avid Washington Redskins fan.
Surviving are two daughters, Marissa and Kristi, both of Scranton; two sisters, Kim Fornwaldt, Tunkhannock; and Joan Thompson, Moscow; several nieces and nephews.
Friends may call Sunday from 3 to 6 p.m. at the Carl J. Savino Funeral Home, 157 S. Main Ave., Scranton. There will be a blessing service at 6. Interment will be private.
In lieu of flowers, donations are being accepted in Mark's memory by his daughters, Marissa and Kristi.
