Mary R. DiNoia

Mary R. "Aunt Mary" DiNoia, 89, of Dunmore, died Wednesday morning at St. Mary's Villa , Elmhurst.

Born in Dunmore, daughter of the late Vincenzo James and Clare Silvi Calciano, she attended Dunmore public schools. Before retirement, she worked as a housekeeper for the Holiday Inn, Dunmore, and Bishop O'Hara High School. She was a member of SS. Anthony and Rocco Parish and a former member of its Altar and Rosary Society.

Aunt Mary loved spending time with her dear family, and enjoyed cooking special meals for them.

The family wishes to thank everyone at St. Mary's Villa, especially Debbie and her staff, who loved and cared for Mary with great compassion.

Surviving are nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.

She was also preceded in death by a sister, Theresa Romanini; and brothers, Angelo, Daniel and Carmen Calciano.

The funeral will be Saturday from the Carlucci-Golden-DeSantis Funeral Home Inc., 318 E. Drinker St., Dunmore, with Mass at 11 a.m. at the St. Anthony of Padua Church, Smith Street, Dunmore. Interment, St. Catherine's Cemetery, Moscow.

Friends may call today from 7 to 9 p.m. and Saturday from 9:30 to 10:30 at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to St. Mary's Villa, 516 St. Mary's Villa Road, Elmhurst, PA 18444.
