Maxine H. Buckland

Maxine H. Buckland, 95, of Harrisburg, died Saturday, April 12, 2014, at Pinnacle Health, Harrisburg Campus.

Mrs. Buckland was born in Hampton, Virginia, the daughter of the late Charles and Margaret (Boarsch) Boone. She was a member of the First Presbyterian Church of Honesdale.

Maxine was predeceased by her first husband, Michael Kutch; her second husband, Edward Buckland; her son, Paul Kutch; and her grandson, James Kutch.

She is survived by two daughters, Cheryl A. (Thomas) Hartley, of Harrisburg, Pa.; and Rose (Richard) Hoffman of Commack, N.Y.; four sons, Michael (Judy) Kutch of Bath, Pa.; Myron Kutch of Wayne County, Pa.; David (Nancy) Kutch of South Canaan, Pa.; and Christian (Deb) Kutch of Clifford, Pa.: nineteen grandchildren, nineteen great-grandchildren, and two great-great-grandchildren; one sister, Dorothy Pawlik of Indianapolis, Ind.; one brother, Alfred Faatz of Prompton, Pa.

Funeral services will be held on Thursday, April 17, 2014, 2:00 p.m. at the First Presbyterian Church, 201 Tenth Street, Honesdale, the Reverend Michael Lyle will officiate. Burial will be in Prompton Cemetery immediately following the service.

Visitation will be on Thursday, April 17, 2014, 1-2 p.m. at the church prior to the service.

Local arrangements are by the Bryant Funeral Home, Honesdale, Pa.
