Michael Joseph Gaetano

Michael Joseph Gaetano, 50, of Dunmore, died Saturday at home.

Born in Scranton, he was the son of the late Salvatore John and Dolores Rinaldi Gaetano and was a Dunmore High School graduate. He was employed by R&L Carriers, Pittston.

He was an avid fisherman and hunter and coached many with his hunting abilities. Michael loved the outdoors. He was an incredible mentor and role model, always teaching others life lessons and letting them know the true meaning of life. He always had a way of making others laugh. He really knew his way around a kitchen, cooking was a natural talent of his. Words cannot explain how much he loved his nieces and nephews. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him. He was truly a great man and loved by all.

Surviving are sisters, Susan Comstock, Dunmore; and Danielle Fromert and husband, Dave, Madison Twp.; nieces, Jennifer, Jessica and Kelly; nephews, Spenser and Austin; his best friend, Denise Montaro, and her children, Courtney and Tyler; several aunts, uncles and cousins.

Friends are invited to attend Mass on Thursday at 9:30 a.m. in St. Anthony's Church, Smith Street, Dunmore. Interment, Mount Carmel Cemetery, Dunmore.

There will be no public calling hours.
