Mildred Orbish

Mildred "Millie" Orbish, 92, of Dickson City, died Wednesday at Mid-Valley Hospital, Peckville. She was preceded in death by her husband, Anthony P. Orbish, on July 29, 1990.

Born in Eynon, she was the daughter of the late Michael and Veronica Stash Chervinak. She was a member of St. Mary's Visitation Church, Dickson City. She was a graduate of Archbald High School and before retirement, she was employed by Lockheed Martin, Archbald. Millie was a devout Catholic who attended Mass daily. She donated her time working at the cafeteria of St. Mary's parochial school, Dickson City.

She enjoyed going to St. Mary's bingo and her trips to the casinos. She will be deeply missed by her family.

Surviving are a sister, Cecelia Matala, Eynon; nieces and nephews.

She was also preceded in death by five sisters, Mary Brojack, Helen Surkey, Veronica Tracewski, Anna Matala and Irene Kaliscak; and three brothers, Michael, John and Thomas Chervinak.

The funeral will be Saturday at 9:30 a.m. from the Frank T. Mazur Funeral Home Inc., 601 Dundaff St., Dickson City, with Mass at 10 in St. Mary's Visitation Church, Dickson City. Interment, St. Mary's Cemetery, Dickson City.
