Olga Humen

Olga Humen, 91, of Syracuse, N.Y., passed away peacefully Friday, May 30, at Menorah Park.

She was born Aug. 23, 1922, to Hillary and Mary Krenitsky, in Simpson, Pa. She was a communicant of Ss. Peter and Paul Russian Orthodox Church. She worked at the courthouse in Scranton, Pa., and later was a party planner for Raphael's Restaurant in Syracuse for almost 50 years.

Olga was predeceased by her husband, Harry; and her siblings, Cecelia, Peter, Anna, Alexander and Harry. Surviving are three daughters, Deborah (Peter) Palladino, Indiana; Rosemary Marshall, Jamesville, N.Y.; and Tamara Humen, Syracuse; her sister, Rose Ference, Carbondale, Pa.; six grandchildren, Hilary (Brian) Radenmacher, Jessica and Peter Palladino, James and Nicholas Marshall and Joshua Justice; two great-grandchildren, Sophia and Noah Radenmacher; and nieces and nephews, Harry (Susan) Krenitsky, Daria (Tom) Kuntz, Maryann Wiggins and Alex Krenitsky.

Services were Tuesday at the Butler-Badman Funeral Home, Inc., 4504 W. Seneca Turnpike, Syracuse, and at Ss. Peter and Paul Russian Orthodox Church, 401 Hamilton St., Syracuse, NY 13204. Interment, Onondaga Valley Cemetery.
