Patricia Foreman, 61, of Scranton, died Thursday at Regional Hospital of Scranton.
Born in Scranton, she was the daughter of James Laybourn of Scranton and the late Helen Frances Laybourn. She was a member of St. Ann's Basilica, Scranton, educated in Scranton public schools and a graduate of West Scranton High School. Before her illness, she was employed by Gerrity's Supermarkets and Stelmak's.
She was a loving mother, daughter and grandmother. Her greatest joy came from being with her grandchildren.
Also surviving are three sons, P.J. Falvo and companion, Renée Klitch; Mark Falvo; and Cory Falvo and wife, Michele, all of Scranton; one sister, Carol Davis, Mount Cobb; nine grandchildren, Katie, Jimmy, Adam, Mark Jr., Brandon, Bryanna, Cory Jacob, Zachary Thomas and Cameron Sean Falvo; nieces, nephews and cousins.
She was also preceded in death by one brother, James Laybourn.
A blessing service will be held Monday at 8 p.m. in the Thomas J. Hughes Funeral Home Inc., 1240 St. Ann's St., Scranton, by the Rev. Francis Landry, pastor of St. Ann's Basilica Parish. Interment: Fairview Memorial Park, Elmhurst.
