Philip Marchese

Philip Marchese, 50, of Minisink Hills, Pa., died Saturday, June 8, 2013, at Pocono Medical Center, East Stroudsburg, Pa. Philip was born Sept. 14, 1962, in Brooklyn, N.Y. He was the son of Pauline (Cuccia) and the late Pasquale Marchese. He was married to Caroline (Jones) Marchese.

He was a plumber with 31 years of service for the Plumbers Union Local 1, New York City, and was a member of the Outlaws Motorcycle Club. Philip was a devoted father, who spent most of his time with his beloved son, Pasquale.

He is survived by his wife, Caroline (Jones) Marchese; and his 3-year-old son, Pasquale Marchese; his mother, Pauline (Cuccia) Marchese; two brothers, Nicholas Marchese and wife, Myra "Sam"; and Robert Marchese; nieces and nephews, Nicholas Marchese, Francesca Henry, Caroline and Kristy Baumgartner; Marissa, Sarah and Brianna Jones; and Zander Medrano; and one great-nephew, Johnny Henry.

The funeral will be held Saturday, June 15, at 1 p.m. at Cochran Funeral Home Inc., 905 High St., Hackettstown, N.J. Burial will be in Pequest Union Cemetery, Great Meadows, following visitation.

Calling hours will be Friday, June 14, from 4 to 8 p.m. and Saturday, June 15, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Cochran Funeral Home Inc., 905 High St., Hackettstown, N.J.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Pasquale Marchese Trust Fund.
