R. Thomas Kamin

R. Thomas Kamin, 90, a lifelong resident of Vandling, died Monday at the Commonwealth Hospice at Regional Hospital of Scranton.

Born in Vandling, son of the late John and Christina Jerhlich Kamin, he was a member of St. Joseph's Church, Ascension Parish, Forest City. He was a graduate of Vandling High School. He was an Army Air Corps veteran, having served with the Eighth Air Force in World War II. Before retirement, he was employed by RCA in Dunmore. He was an avid golfer who won several local tournaments, and he was a charter member of Wivey's Golf League, Forest City.

Surviving are several nieces and nephews.

He was also preceded in death by four brothers, John, Joseph, Fred and Vincent; and a sister, Christine Kilonsky.

As per his request, private funeral services will be held. Interment will be in St. Joseph's Cemetery, Forest City.
