Regina Louise Panulla

Regina Louise Panulla, Dalton, died at home on Nov. 23. Her husband of 25 years, Michael Panulla, died in 1981.

Born Sept. 17, 1939, in Wilkes-Barre, daughter of the late George and Martha Silverstein Schwab, Regina was employed for many years as a nurse at Moses Taylor Hospital, Scranton, where her loving care was always felt by her patients, and she had a special passion for the children in her care.

Regina was a loving and caring mother, mother-in-law, grandmother and sister who will be missed by all who knew her.

Surviving are a daughter, Ann Michele Dingee and husband, Robert, Clarks Summit; a granddaughter, Aime Dingee, Scranton; two sisters, Joan Degnan and Maryanne Lipinski, both of Kingston; many nieces, nephews and cousins.

Her family would like to thank the Commonwealth Home Health Hospice staff for their care and kindness.

She was also preceded in death by her beloved partner of 23 years, David Bichler, in 2009; and her sister, Catherine Montedonico, who died in 1978.

Funeral services will be private.
