Richard T. Sant

Richard T. Sant, 77, of Dickson City, died Saturday morning at Regional Hospital of Scranton after a brief illness. His wife is the former Robin Ann Jenkins.

Born Jan. 23, 1936, in Nicholson Twp., Wyoming County, son of the late Willard T. and Dorothy E. Fletcher Sant, Richard was an Army veteran, obtaining the rank of private second class. Before his retirement, he was employed as a painter and was previously employed by Allied Services of Scranton. Richard was a member of St. Peter's Lutheran Church in Scranton, and was a member of the St. David's Society of Lackawanna County.

Also surviving are three sons, Richard Sant, Virginia; Jamie Sant, Taylor; and Thomas Sant, Long Island, N.Y.; and grandchildren.

Funeral services will be conducted Friday at 1 p.m. in the Howard J. Snowdon Funeral Home, 1810 Sanderson Ave., Scranton.
